Our story

From a New York corner to the Gulf.

otai didn't start in the Emirates. It started with a name that had already traveled halfway around the world, and it kept going.

NYC

Born in New York

The idea took shape in New York, a city built almost entirely by people who came from somewhere else to make something of themselves. That's the instinct otai was born with: help someone land in a new place and get to work. It's the same job we do now, just on the other side of the world.

NAME

Named after a drink that traveled

otai is a drink from the Pacific islands, coconut and watermelon over ice, the kind of thing that tastes like somewhere warm and far away. The name carries that with it: a taste of the tropics that ended up somewhere it was never from. That's why you'll see the ocean in how we look, and why the name felt right for a firm whose whole job is helping things cross from one place to another.

REACH

Anchored in the Emirates, connected to the world

Today otai is anchored in Ras Al Khaimah, working across the Northern Emirates and the wider UAE, with a foot in Delaware and reach into the broader US and global markets. The through-line never changed. We help people set up, move, and settle, and we coordinate the whole thing so nothing gets lost between the licence, the freight, and the front door.

Where it began

A raised torch, and an open door.

Every otai story circles back to where ours began: a torch held up over New York harbour, the oldest promise in the book, that if you come to build something, there's a place for you to do it. We carry a little of that light with us, from the Emirates to wherever you're headed next.
